Marie’s Clams and Pasta
Ingredients
Pasta
- 1 lb linguine
- water
- pinch salt
- olive oil
Aromatics
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 shallot
Herbs
- 1 tbsp dry parsley
- 1 tsp red pepper flake
- 1/4 tsp dry rosemary
- 1/4 tsp dry basil
Liquids
- 1 c white wine

1 bottle clam juice
- 2 cans minced clams
Directions
- Bring pot of water to boil with salt and olive oil, add linguine
- Sauté aromatics on medium-high until transparent
- Reduce heat to medium; add herbs and sauté for another 30 seconds
- Add liquids, juice from canned clams and 1/4 cup pasta water; reduce on medium for 10 minutes
- Drain pasta. Remove sauce from heat, and add clams. Serve sauce on top of pasta
